ABOUT ME

I have filmed for over 20 years as a DOP / Lighting Cameraman filming feature films, drama, commercials & documentaries.

I began my career working as a runner for the Moving Picture Company, then as film camera assistant  for  BBC Bristol, Wales and Ealing Studios film units and many fi lm productions where I learnt the necessary skills to become a DOP.

I have filmed over 150 commercials and worked on many documentaries for BBC1 ,BBC2, BBC4, ITV and Channel 4 programmes that include Horizon, Arena and Panorama.

Feature Films and drama include the We Can Be Heroes with Alison Steadman, children feature film the Magic Door with Jenny Agutter and Aaron Johnson, Corn Devils, the Wild Ones and BBC Casualty.

I also write and direct and have recently produced and filmed a number of documentaries that  include

Beyond Solastalgia  about climate change,  a  documentary called ‘The River’ telling the story of how  a community has changed  over a generation along the river Severn.

 I have travelled extensively around the world on numerous productions and hold both UK & US Citizenship.
